The Pay-per-click search engine component is
both a database and meta search engine that indexes
Web sites and News Group postings.

Search:

Q-Search(tm) searches your search engine database, plus several other search engine databases or News Group postings on all input key words.

With the Q-Search Site Searcher, you can host your own Internet and News Group search engine. Place search forms anywhere on your site.

Webmasters can submit their urls, you can review them, then all the ones you like can be allowed to go into the search engine database. You can even charge them on a pay-per-click basis.

Or you can just add urls of your choosing and allow your users to search from your select list.

All of which can be done via the web-based Q-Search admin area!

The SQL module supports most any real database server: MSQL, IBM DB2, Oracle, Informix...

You can also select categories for the search engine to use. This helps users get to the site they are looking for faster. Categories can easily be set by you.

The HTML template files allow you to easily adjust the look of the output pages. First, you define the each item, which is how each search return is formatted. Then you define the actual HTML that surrounds the returned items, and you choose where to put the search terms.

When a user clicks on a link on the search results page, you have the option of displaying the Web site in frames pages where you banner, Home link, search form, or logo can. Then the user remains tied to you site. You can even signal the search engine not to display frames on specific search keywords. Simply insert specific key word where frames are not be used.
