• Sort messages: Users can sort messages by author, date, thread, etc. This makes finding a particular post a lot easier.
• Improved searching: Search for posts by date, subject, author and content.
• ODBC forum support: Administrators may store all forum data in ODBC-compliant databases. This allows for seamless integration into other databases for easy information retrieval. (NT only)
• Multiple-Level boards: Multiple-level boards and topic subcategories in the discussion forums allow users to narrow their focus. You can have various sub-boards under a major board listing.
• Messages alert: New posts are marked to alert users to messages they have not encountered.
• Forum management: Forums may be password protected – user must know password to gain admittance, Moderated – administrator may allow, disallow or modify posts prior to displaying them, or Read-only – user not able to respond as they are intended for informational purposes only.
• File attachments: File sharing is easy inside the discussion forums. Attach documents, graphics, sound, video files and more.
• Unlimited forums: Communities may be populated with unlimited forums, sub-forums, users and messages.
